Veneers are placed normally over the anterior teeth to change the appearance of the teeth. They can be the cure for teeth that are severely discoloured, chipped, have small holes or pits, misshapen, crooked or for the correction of unwanted or uneven spaces. They are different to crowns as they only cover the anterior (front) surface of the tooth.

The process for veneers crowns and bridges are very similar. It is spread over two appointments. At the first appointment the dentist will reshape the tooth / teeth and take an impression on your mouth. Finally he prepares a temporary veneer or crown/bridge which will cover the tooth until the permanent is ready. At the second appointment, the dentist will remove the temporary and permanently cement the veneer or crown/bridge which has been made especially for you.
